Dr Jasper Montana is a Research Fellow in the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on environmental governance and the design of science-policy interfaces for societal challenges. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, an M.Sc. from Imperial College, London, and a B.Sc. from the University of Melbourne. Jasper contributed to S4D4C through his role as a Research Associate at the University of Sheffield prior to his transition to Oxford. In particular, he contributed to two case studies on Science advice in the European Union: Crafting collective understanding of transnational issues and Water diplomacy and its future in the national, regional and European environments. He also co-developed the project’s quality assurance framework.
