The S4D4C project aims to support the European Science Diplomacy community with the content, knowledge and skills necessary to successfully navigate the Science Diplomacy interface in Europe and beyond. To this end, S4D4C is developing a number of capacity development activities (e.g. in-person intensive training workshops, training materials distributed with an open source licence, online modules).
The pages below provide you with a sample of selected training materials, including recommendations on how to use them, so that you can use them for your own science diplomacy seminar.
The compilation is organised around four objectives:
Their combination accounts for an efficient and lasting training experience. We recommend making use of material available in all four sections and combining it for an interactive and productive seminar. Under each objective you will find a set of different materials and ideas and advice on how to best put them into practice.
Alternatively, you can make use of our filter function below to retrieve material per group size, topics, expertise level etc.
Generally, you are free to share and adapt the materials for any purpose with adequate attribution and for non-commercial use. The majority of the materials is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC-BY). Please check carefully each material’s licence – there are some exceptions (e.g. CC-BY-ND).
We are happy if you drop us a line in case you re-use any of the material to learn about their dissemination: contact@s4d4c.eu.
